Client’s Feedback
Diane provides detailed notes after each visit and is very responsive with anything that may come up between sessions. Even after we finished our meetings, we can still reach out anytime with questions. This demonstrates her care and dedication to our continued success.
We cannot recommend Diane enough!!
Highly encourage you to use their vast resources and expertise!
My baby had both a tongue tie and a lip tie, and Dawn guided us through every step of the process with expertise, patience, and compassion. Her support, encouragement, and practical advice made all the difference during a challenging time.
Thanks to Dawn’s guidance, I was able not only to continue breastfeeding but to genuinely enjoy the experience. I am incredibly grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to any parent needing breastfeeding support.
I worked with Diane Litwin for nursing our 2nd baby. He had a tongue tie and we got it released with Dr. Rishita Jaju at Smile Wonders and worked with Diane together to help him get the best start to nursing. It was hard work but we were able to exclusively breastfeed and continue until he was 2. I also worked with Diane to help come up with a plan to wean since he was so attached.
I hope this review helps someone else!
Diane is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares about moms. She takes the time to truly listen and puts everything into perspective during what can feel like a very overwhelming season. What I appreciated most is that she works with your goals, whether that’s nursing directly, increasing milk supply while pumping, combo feeding, or preparing to return to work. She also gave thoughtful guidance around maintaining mental health postpartum, which meant so much to me.
She doesn’t just focus on mom ; she carefully evaluates baby as well. She monitored weight gain, assessed feeding effectiveness, and checked for possible lip and tongue ties. Both of my babies ended up having ties, and because of her thorough assessment, we were referred to an excellent pediatric dentist to have them revised. That made a huge difference in feeding for both children.
I always opted for in-home visits (there is an additional travel fee), and it was absolutely worth it. When you have a newborn, staying home is just so much easier than packing everything up and going out. Having her come to me made the entire experience less stressful and more productive.
She provides extremely detailed notes after each visit and is impressively fast with communication. What’s even more reassuring is that her support doesn’t just end after the visits. Even after we finished our home sessions, we can still reach out anytime with questions, which is invaluable because there are so many feeding questions that come up throughout the entire first year.
If you’re considering a lactation consultant, book with Diane. She is compassionate, thorough, and truly life-changing.
Her guidance was clear, practical, and reassuring, and she met me exactly where I was without judgment. I felt empowered, confident, and supported every step of the way. I cannot recommend Liba highly enough to anyone looking for expert lactation support.
Thank you so much, Diane❤️
I worked with Jenny on so many issues starting from week one, and she had a thoughtful plan for every single one. She helped us through my baby’s recovery from lip and tongue tie surgery, identified the causes of her gas and acid reflux, and even taught my husband and me how to help our baby release some of the worst trapped gas. My baby was happy again! We were able to enjoy our baby as she wasn’t crying anymore from all the gas and she was nursing!
Two months later, I developed an oversupply issue, and my baby was choking during feeds — once again, Jenny had a solution. She has been a huge support throughout my motherhood journey.
I can’t recommend Jenny enough! I am very thankful for everything that I learned from her.
With my second baby, I noticed right away that he is latch was painful and my nipples were getting damaged, so I emailed them from the hospital! An appointment with Mary was our first order of business after discharge. She helped me with positioning to increase my comfort and improve his milk transfer, and encouraged me to take him for craniosacral therapy to help him poop more easily and reduce the tension in his body. After we had worked on his body and tummy time for a couple of weeks, Mary expertly supported us through the process of getting his tongue and lip ties released, including the aftercare. I had another beautiful nursing journey, and when I had challenges with bottle refusal and then later needing guidance on gentle weaning, Mary was there to guide me. I’m so thankful for her support!
Specifically, Dawn Graham is a wonderful IBCLC. She had an answer to every question and multiple recommendations ready for any product I was curious about adding to my routine. She was able to tell me what was working with my daily practice and what to eliminate or add in. She provided exercises to help with our baby’s ‘biting’ when she latched. She is so knowledgeable, clear, and great with the baby. I feel so much more confident breastfeeding my baby after visits with her.
Highly recommend!
She supported not just me as a second-time mom, but also my baby and my husband, making all of us feel heard, cared for, and truly supported. Her expertise, kindness, and empathy made a world of difference during what could have been an overwhelming time.
Now that we’ve reached one full year of breastfeeding — something that once felt so uncertain — I can’t help but reflect on how big a role she played in making this journey so meaningful and rewarding. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her by our side. Thank you, Ania!
From the beginning, she listened with compassion and guided us every step of the way, ensuring I felt empowered and confident in feeding my daughter. Thanks to her, we overcame every challenge, and I am thrilled to say that I’ve been able to exclusively breastfeed my 11-month-old daughter so far (while also managing to pump at work as a busy healthcare professional) something I never thought possible without her support.
Diane is a gift to anyone starting or struggling with their breastfeeding journey. Her dedication to her work and to helping mothers and babies is truly unmatched. If you’re searching for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and empowering lactation consultant, I couldn’t recommend her more. She’s made an incredible impact on our lives, and we’ll forever be grateful!
I’m seeing Jenny to help with my oversupply, so that I can get back to breast-feeding, rather than exclusively pumping. I already see a change after the very first visit. Everyone has been so incredibly helpful and readily available to help. I’ve had several questions since my visit and it’s literally a matter of minutes before jenny gets back to me. Before I met with her, I was emailing back-and-forth with Brittney over the Christmas holiday and she even responded to my email on Christmas! So very grateful for these ladies… as a first time mom, I felt the weight lifted from my shoulders after my very first visit.
At our first visit with Lactation Room Jenny did a very thorough consultation and came up with a personalized plan for my baby, recommending additional medical professionals (i.e. for tongue and lip tie removal) as indicated and giving me words of encouragement when I needed them most. I’m so happy to report that every week my baby’s nursing improved so much and at 5 weeks post-partum we are exclusively breast feeding! The bonding time while nursing my baby has been so special and I’m so thankful we got here. It just took a little time, perseverance and expert help 😊 Jenny also gave me advice for pumping milk effectively and safely when I return to work in a few weeks! I have several friends who also went to Jenny for help with breastfeeding and all told me how amazing she was - they were so right! The mom tribe knows best! 😁 The Mt. Airy location for Lactation Room is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, and I love that they are able to do home visits as well - it was so nice right after my c-section to not have to leave the comfort of home.
If you are hoping to breast feed and need help, even if you’re worried it will never happen like I was that first night home from the hospital, reach out to Lactation Room before giving up! And I cannot recommend Jenny enough!! 💕
