Teaching and support to help achieve your breastfeeding goal

If you are novice or experienced with breastfeeding, we are here to help you feel comfortable and confident with breastfeeding and/or pumping. We are a “no judgement” practice and are respectful to your needs. Our goals are to help you reach yours and ensure you feel confident, supported, and respected along your journey.

Return to Work

Ask about our individual “Return to Work” plans customized to you and your baby’s needs for breastfeeding and lactation education.

Breastfeeding Class

From individual teaching to small groups, ask about our Breastfeeding classes.

Group classes are held in our Mount Airy office location. These classes are provided in a group setting with up to 10 other families. Breastfeeding is more successful when you have support, and we encourage you to include your support person(s) attend or schedule a private one-on-one private session.

Flange Fitting Consults

This one-on-one session will allow you an opportunity to learn how to properly get sized for pumping. A flange that does not fit properly will decrease your milk production and also increase discomfort or cause damage. Working with one our IBCLCs will allow a safe space to talk all things pumping and flange sizing. There will also be an optional flange kit to rent after your session to use at home for 24 hours to ensure the size if correct and comfortable.
